Personally i don't really think the ps3 has the capability for cross game chat with such limited memory (tho i hope i'm wrong) but the system really wasn't designed with that in mind. on PSN its all guess work, most times when u message someone if there in the middle of a fire fight, u'd have to wait till they reach back in the lobby before they send u a *TEXT* reply, on XBL they can hit the guide button and switch voice chat between "Party, Game, Private" voice chat which speeds up the process. also the friend list on xbox live makes much more sense as it shows the game the person is playing, who they are currently playing with and if there is space for you to join in. Still tho when they are talking about xbox live the main reason all of that is possible cause xbox has "party chat" which works cross games as well. cuz i know there are quite a few ppl that will play SF4 but cause no one care to try and make the matches u'll never end up playing. and what would that 1 game be? call of duty?. Then see if we can double the playstation 3 community by the end of the year (got a few tricks up my sleeve that are in progress)ġ choice?. However Sony and their gaming platform has been good to us over the decade so I'll pony up the $$ for Fat Princess month end and increase the # from 14 to 15. Yes, their community features need serious work. Only the 360 missing, so soon is gow2 and halo 3 immc.īut blue_vice, lets not give up on the PS3 and it's free multiplayer network just yet. Lacing cocaine in those boxes.īy christmas I'll see what all the fuss is about first hand. I know people who went through four 360 units and yet they still continue to replace the console, despite the bad experience. Its interesting to hear that the 360 scene so lively despite the failure rate and the subscription fee for online play. To me that is where the experience is, the lime, the sweat and just good fun. I log in and see 5 rooms FULL of Trini's playing Gears to HALO to WaW to Street Fighter.you dive in a chat roomĪnd so we goin. On the other hand, Friday night on 360.LEVEL gaming with Trinis. Friday night on a WoW server is like you step into a "gamer" Zen club and talk just om Obama, to some new song, to what people seeing on TV, to a new 360 game that come out.to all kinda thing. Nothing wrong with preference which was my original point.įor the past few months i was ONLY gaming on PC, big into my WoW gaming. Not to say you cannot do this on a PC atall. I go on Burnout its FULL of people,, on Fable 2 you can just go into a chat room and hear men talking bout stuff they got, see them moving around in your world ingame as little avatars and so forth. LIVE is just so active all the time with FPS to fighters to.whatever. Personally for consoles I just prefer the community. I know for certain, people dont mind having "decent" graphics running just fine on their rig, again preference. Personally I cant game on PC if I dont have the absolute best zomg full graphics settings running 1900x1200. And its always good to have a preference. I hope people keep it at an informative level.Īs for PC gaming, I think its great but a preference.
